Morse Code
Decoding Table
To use this table, move down the columns on the blue side for a 'dit' and white side for a 'dah', eg. for ..- you start in a dit, so blue, square (the one with E in it), the next character is a dit so move down to the next blue square (the one with I in it) and the final character is a dah so move down into the next white square, and as it is the final character, it will tell you what letter it is, in this case U.
Learning Morse Code
Always learn by listening to the sound, thinking dah and dit rather than thinking dash and dot. Try learning them in the following small groups:
E I S H
T M O
A U V
N D B
K X
P R
Y Q Z F L
G W J C
1 2 3 4 5
6 7 8 9 0
Most importantly, keep practising to get your speed up.
